Federal Firearms License

Veritas Arms operates as a federally licensed firearms manufacturer. Every product we make and sell is serialized, documented, and handled in accordance with the Gun Control Act and the regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Background Checks and Transfers

Firearms are transferred only through a licensed FFL dealer. Every transfer requires the completion of ATF Form 4473 and a background check. We do not, and cannot, transfer a firearm to anyone who is prohibited from possessing one.

Prohibited Buyers

By law, we cannot sell or transfer a firearm or ammunition to any person who, among other things:

• Is under the minimum legal age;
• Has been convicted of a felony or certain domestic-violence offenses;
• Is subject to a qualifying restraining order;
• Is an unlawful user of controlled substances;
• Has been adjudicated as mentally defective or committed to a mental institution; or
• Is otherwise prohibited under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) or applicable state law.

State and Local Restrictions

Firearms, magazines, and certain features are restricted or banned in some jurisdictions. We screen orders against known restrictions and will not ship a configuration into a jurisdiction where it is unlawful. You remain responsible for compliance with your local law.

Export Controls

Firearms and related technical data are subject to U.S. export-control laws, including the ITAR and EAR. Veritas Arms sells domestically and does not export. Exporting a firearm or controlled component without proper authorization is a serious federal crime.

Responsible Ownership

We are firearms owners ourselves. We ask every customer to store firearms securely, keep them away from anyone prohibited or underage, and treat every firearm as a serious responsibility.
